Featuring the largest vertical glass tempering furnace in the world, Taylor Made continues to invest significantly in our Payne, Ohio facility — keeping it one of the most efficient, state-of-the-art glass bending facilities the world over.
In the past decade, 15,000 sq. ft. of floorspace has been added, and the installation of two more vertical tempering furnaces has doubled our capacity. The pre-furnace operation has undergone considerable improvements, adding a new conveyor system, new wash line, three drills, two large paint tables and an additional grinder. Perhaps most importantly, the vast majority of tooling is now constructed in-house, implementing the use of two-up molds that double the output of each furnace cycle.
The end result of all of this effort and investment is a facility capable of producing flawlessly tempered, beautifully curved glass for a myriad of market segments, with a fully certified ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system.Go back to previous page
